I stayed in a hotel that had a lovely atmosphere, but it was a bit disappointing in some areas. The location was fantastic and great for photographs, and the staff were friendly and helpful. On the downside, the room I received didn’t quite fit the 'suite' description and was somewhat over-priced for what I got. Additionally, the noise from the construction outside made it less than ideal for relaxing.

Rooms
5.0
The room was described as a superior king suite, but it really felt more like a standard room with no view and noise from generators outside. The wet room shower was nice, though.
Service

The service was excellent, with friendly and helpful staff always ready to assist, making the stay more enjoyable.
Location

The location was simply amazing for capturing photographs, which I really appreciated despite the bustling atmosphere.
Dining

Dining at Gillies had great options, but I struggled to find information easily without an app that could have guided me better.
Facilities
6.0
The facilities did their job, but I was disappointed that some areas, like the thermal hydro, were not fully accessible due to building work.

The hotel has a lot going for it, like clean and beautiful rooms with a lovely thermal village view. The staff is super friendly and accommodating, making the stay enjoyable. However, I found the value for money a bit lacking, especially for what they call a suite, which honestly felt like a standard room due to the lack of view and unpleasant sounds from outside. Additionally, the location has its charm but still feels like a work in progress with some areas under construction.

Rooms

My room was extremely beautiful, very clean, and overlooked the thermal village. I was in the suite 1857, which was fabulous, but I felt it was a bit overpriced for what I got. There was a nice wet room shower, but unfortunately, the only sounds I heard from outside my window were from generators, which wasn't ideal.
Service
8.0
The service was exceptionally good; the staff was friendly, approachable, and really a credit to the resort. They once apologized and brought down two cocktails when there was an issue, but it felt a bit like an insult rather than a genuine gesture.
Location
6.0
The location is quite nice for a relaxing getaway and there are many options being added, which I love since I'm a regular visitor. However, the surrounding areas are still under construction and could be distracting sometimes.
Dining
7.0
The dining experience was decent, with a good buffet breakfast available, though I think adding more self-service coffee machines would be beneficial. I missed information on how to use the hotel’s app to access the menu and spa facilities.
Facilities

The hotel has some nice amenities, but the area still feels like a building site, which is a bit disappointing. I hope they finish up soon to enhance the overall experience.

I had a fantastic stay overall! The hotel is located in a serene part of Galgorm Wood, perfect for a relaxing getaway, and the service provided by the staff was top-notch. However, the room was advertised as a suite, but it felt more like a standard room with no view and some noise from generators outside. The dining experience was okay, with a good breakfast variety, but the app for additional information wasn't very clear.

The room was described as a superior king suite, but it didn’t quite match that expectation. It was clean and relaxing, but I missed having a nice view and was disrupted by the noise from generators outside.

Location

The hotel is in a lovely secluded area of Galgorm Wood, which makes it a great spot for a relaxing few days, but it is important to note that parts of the area are still a construction site.
Dining

Dining during the 'Dawn Experience' was pretty good, offering a nice variety for a light breakfast. However, I found the information on how to navigate the facilities a little lacking.
Facilities

The facilities were generally nice, especially the thermal spa area. However, the overall experience was somewhat marred by the construction underway, which should be considered before booking.

I had a lovely stay at the hotel, which offered spacious rooms with incredibly comfortable beds. The staff was friendly and very helpful, enhancing my experience. However, the location had a construction site nearby, which was a bit of a nuisance. The dining at the Elements cafe could use some improvement in terms of warmth and atmosphere, especially during chilly mornings.

I had a decent stay overall. The rooms were clean, but they could use some upgrades, especially the River Room, which didn't really feel like a suite to me. The service I received was top-notch, and the staff were exceptionally friendly. On the downside, the location was a bit lacking in drink options at the bar. Still, it was a reasonable experience for the price.

Rooms

The River Room was clean but could really benefit from an upgrade; it felt more like a standard hotel room rather than a suite, and there was no view, just the noise of generators outside.
Service

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The location is great with plenty of amenities, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. However, I found the room to be overpriced for what it was, as it didn’t come with a nice view and there was noise from outside. The dining experience could also use some improvement, particularly with organization during busy times.

Rooms

The room I stayed in was a bit of a letdown given the price. It was described as a superior king suite but felt more like a standard room. There wasn’t much of a view, only the sound of generators outside my window.
Service

The service was fantastic! The staff was so friendly and always served with a smile. They were polite and helpful, making my stay more enjoyable.
Location

The hotel's location is decent but can get crowded. I love that they’re always expanding the facilities, which is exciting, but it can feel overwhelming at times. It’s also a bit far from Ballymena, which made getting around a bit tricky.
Dining

Dining was a bit disappointing; there was a good selection for breakfast, but it was poorly managed. Lines were long and it didn’t feel very organized at all.
Facilities

The facilities were spacious and had plenty of pools and jacuzzis, which was nice. However, it would have been helpful to have received more information about the thermal hydro area upon check-in.

The hotel had some comforts, but there were definitely a few drawbacks. The rooms, especially the superior king suite, were spacious yet a bit dated, and the view was non-existent with just the noise of generators outside. The service was really friendly and accommodating, which was a pleasant surprise. The location was nice for relaxation, with plenty of pools and jacuzzis available, but I wish there were more drink options at the bar. Overall, a decent experience, but not without its issues.

Rooms

I had a lovely stay at the hotel, where the rooms were spacious and impeccably clean, and the staff were always available and friendly. While the dining experience was enjoyable with various options, it could use better organization. The location is convenient, but it felt like a construction site in some areas. Overall, it was a great value for money.

My stay at the hotel was somewhat mixed. The location is beautiful, though undergoing construction, which affects the experience a bit. The rooms, particularly the superior king suite, were more basic than I expected and lacked a decent view. However, the staff were accommodating and the dining had its highlights, even if it could use some improvements.

I had a lovely stay at this hotel with very friendly staff. The reception was warm, and I felt welcomed right away. However, the view from my room was disappointing as it overlooked a building site. Overall, it offered great value for money, especially considering the amenities provided.

Rooms
